The large panel is yours. The smaller proof is the pattern to match. Your wheels rotate or slide the upper silk mesh; small changes make broad moiré fringes move across the artwork.

  1. Use the − and + buttons to turn each unlocked wheel.
  2. Compare the broad bright islands and dark bands with the reference.
  3. Choose Print proof to check your work. Keep all eight prints.

Later wheels are linked: Twist may carry Warp, and Warp may carry Weft. The arrows beneath each wheel describe its effect. Every movement wraps around. Undo and hints are always available.

SILK & SHADOW

A pattern between layers.

An original optical puzzle inspired by moiré materials and October 2026 twistronics research. The view shows a stylized low-frequency alignment field of two three-direction meshes, with a fine weave texture. It is an artistic model, not an electronic-structure calculation.

Original game code: MIT. Four botanical motifs generated with a GPT image model, optimized and bundled locally. All play and saves stay in this browser. No account or paid features.
